Hotel D'Angleterre Geneva

I recently stayed at Hotel D'Angleterre in Geneva for a week-long vacation. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The vintage vibes of the hotel added a unique touch to my stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, making it convenient to explore the city. The personalized check-in experience was memorable, with the staff knowing my name and providing interesting historical tidbits about the protected Heritage building. The rooms were above standard, with thoughtful touches like a sanitized TV remote and a gift in the room. The staff also arranged for additional services, such as a vehicle detailing, which exceeded my expectations. the hotel and its staff made my stay in Geneva truly memorable.

The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring excellent service. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options. The hotel offers facilities such as free transportation cards for guests to explore the city.

There is no gym or swimming pool on the premises.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, just a short walk away from the grand theater and the beautiful esplanade fronting Lake Geneva. The rooms are stunning, with luxurious decor and spacious bathrooms. The staff goes above and beyond to make guests feel special, offering thoughtful extras like welcome drinks and snacks. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and delicious, ensuring a great start to the day. The hotel also provides convenient facilities such as a boat service on the lake, allowing guests to explore the stunning surroundings.

The only downside is that some rooms may have noise issues due to the old building.

Good location, close to shopping and old town. Enjoyed New Year's Eve fireworks from hotel. Nice room and bathroom with all amenities. Impeccable service and delicious food. Felt treated like royalty. Will stay again on next visit.

I had the most good stay at a charming hotel that offered a fine view of Lake Leman. The location couldn't have been better, with easy access to the boat taxis for a leisurely ride across the lake. The room exuded luxury, with a beautiful chandelier hanging above the bed. The bathroom was super clean and spacious, making me feel like royalty. The buffet breakfast was abundant and scrumptious, ensuring a great start to the day. The staff were very good, escorting me with an umbrella to the underground passageway so that I didn't have to face the rain or traffic. Truly nice!

The location of this hotel was fantastic. It was conveniently situated near the town center and had easy access to public transport, making it easy to explore the city. being right across the street from the fine lake provided the most amazing views.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. the staff provided top-notch service and fulfilled all of my luxurious needs. the room was equipped with exclusive amenities and the restaurant served delicious food. the private facilities were a true highlight and added to the overall exclusivity of this venue. the location advantages were plentiful and contributed to an enjoyable and convenient stay.

The only minor issue I encountered was the lack of live entertainment. While this did not detract from my overall positive experience, it would have been nice to have the option for added leisure activities.

The only minor issue I encountered was the limited halal food options available in the restaurant. the staff was accommodating and offered packed lunches with halal meat for our day trips.
